What is your name and the name of your business?
Holly Nazario, Owner/Senior Artist at Collective Creations
Tell us about your company and how it became.
The company began 6 years ago, when I decided to step out from working full time as a manager in a very high traffic salon to create a more flexible work environment for a busy mom of 2 little ones and do more of what I loved, styling and makeup! As I became busier,I began to hire a unique and talented team who could support, thrive and learn from each other in the bridal beauty industry. We currently have 5 talented artists and one outstanding office manager who not only love their work but love working with each other! We truly have a blast and love what we do!
How would you describe your product/service design style?
Our product is our art. We offer hair and makeup services on location and in studio for any type of event or photoshoot. Our style is a mix of anything from rustic chic to high fashion. We love that we get to create a style that is unique and individual for each and every client.
How is your personality showcased in your company?
We are a light, bright, fun-loving and highly motivated team that loves what we do, loves people and our team. We showcase that on our website and in the time we spend styling our clients and working together. You can catch us laughing together at our team meetings and outings we plan. And working hard and making our clients feel relaxed and comfortable when we are styling.
What makes your product/service different than your competitors?
I think we are different because we really try to listen to what our client is looking for. We want them to walk away feeling beautiful inside and out. We look at each client individually and realize they have their own style and we are there to help enhance that.
Any upcoming excitement for your company?
We recently opened our first studio in Brandon, FL. And we couldn’t be more excited to have a space to bring clients as well as meeting them on location.
What is your favorite part of the wedding planning process?
The Hair and Makeup of course! We do love seeing all the details of the brides day coming together as well.
What are some trends that you are seeing this year?
Headbands are big this year. We still see a lot brides wanting braids in their updo. Loose and low is another continuing trend.
What is one tip to stay on budget?
Pick the things that are most important to you and what you will look back on in 20 years and be thankful you went with quality on.
What is one overall piece of advice you would give to brides?
Make sure you allow enough time for YOU, to enjoy your day! Don’t have last minute things to get accomplished. Have it all complete so you can spend the day with your bridal party and enjoy it!
